The Daisy Green Collection was founded by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions in 2012. Over the last decade it has grown to a dozen venues and counting - cafés, restaurants, secret underground gardens, canal boats and shipping containers - and was recently crowned "the #1 brunch spot in the world" by Tripadvisor.
The challenge
With more demand than the rooms could take, the team needed to get the most out of every dine-in service. Guests wanted to pay and leave without flagging someone down, waiting for the bill, and then waiting again for the card machine.

What they did
Daisy Green rolled out Storekit pay-at-table across the estate: a QR code on the table settles the bill before the guest stands up. Off the back of that, they added add-to-bill, so the extra drink or side goes onto the tab from the guest's phone without asking a member of the team - the hybrid of service and self-service that suits an all-day room.
The result
Wait times are down, table turns are faster, and 5,703 drinks a month get added to bills that would otherwise have closed. Across the estate that is 84 hours of staff time a day handed back to the floor - and 12,000 five-star reviews sent to Google from the payment screen.
Our team can now spend less time taking orders and payments, and more time focusing on customer experience. Their lives are easier - and they're getting more tips.
It's an extra member of the team, without the extra cost.
Eighty-four hours a day, handed back to the floor.
