Online ordering for quick service
Throughput is the whole product
In QSR the constraint is seconds per order. Ordering ahead, tickets that land straight on the kitchen screen, and a checkout that does not make anyone think.

What actually gets in the way
Peak is ninety minutes long
Slot capacity spreads the lunch rush across windows the kitchen can actually hit, instead of letting 12:30 take orders it will serve at 13:15.
Re-keying costs you covers
Orders drop straight into Lightspeed, Square, Zonal, Tevalis, Tissl and Toast. Nobody stands at a tablet retyping a burger into the till.
The queue is the conversion rate
Kiosks and order-ahead move the decision off the counter. Guests browse at their own pace, baskets grow, and staff cook instead of cashiering.
Repeat is the margin
Every direct order builds a guest record. Bring them back with a push notification rather than paying for the same click twice.

Things operators ask
Will it work with the EPOS we already run?
Almost certainly. Storekit integrates with most major tills including Lightspeed, Square, Zonal, Tevalis, Tissl, Toast, NCR Aloha and Comtrex, so orders arrive as tickets rather than as something a member of staff has to retype.
Do kiosks need special hardware?
No. Any iPad or Android tablet becomes a kiosk with a stand and the Storekit app. No proprietary terminal, no hardware lease, and the same menu as every other channel so a price change lands everywhere at once.
How do we handle the lunch rush without overpromising?
Capacity per collection slot. Each window accepts a set number of orders and then closes, so the 12:30 slot sells out and demand rolls into 12:45 rather than into a twenty-minute queue at the counter.
