Edwardian Hotels run some of London's best-known addresses, The May Fair and The Londoner among them. Large corporate events are a big part of the business, alongside a set of high-end in-house dining rooms.

The challenge

Event bookings were integral, but the orders behind them were still collected by hand: order forms sent out, individual choices chased, invoices raised and payments followed up before every event. Edwardian needed a way to collect orders and payments ahead of the day, per guest, with as little of that admin as possible - and nothing on the market did it.

Edwardian - in service

What they did

The Edwardian team worked directly with Storekit's CTO and Head of Customer Success to design and build a bespoke pre-order workflow. Each event gets its own menu; a link goes out to the guests; choices and payment come back before anyone arrives.

The result

Around ten hours saved per event that used to go on forms, requests, invoices and chasing. Every event order now arrives as a pre-order, spend per head is up £28.35, and every guest lands in the CRM - where the team can offer stays, spa days and dinner.

We can't wait to expand the usage of Storekit throughout our hotel estate, for things such as room service, localised delivery and more.

We couldn't find a solution that met our needs - but the Storekit team worked with us to build a bespoke workflow for this.
